Marina Romera

Biochemist with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Genomics and Plant Biology. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with research centers such as IDAEA-CSIC, VHIR, IRTA and CRAG. There, she gained experience in molecular biology and agri-biotechnology, working in areas such as biomedical research, pathology, phytopathology and microbiology.

At Microomics, Marina applies her expertise in molecular biology to prepare samples and libraries using next generation sequencing (NGS), as well as to quality control protocols for projects focusing on microbiome studies in sectors such as agriculture, the environment and health.
