Antonio Sánchez holds a degree in biology and a master’s degree in biotechnology, both from the University of Cordoba, and a master’s degree in bioinformatics from the International University of Valencia. His multidisciplinary background in biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics allows him not only to apply computational tools to biological data, but also to interpret and add value to the results thanks to his solid scientific background.
He started his career as a bioinformatician at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL), where he participated in research focused on endometrial cancer, multiple myeloma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. During this time, he specialised in the analysis of genomic variants associated with cancer and epidemiology, working on key projects to understand these diseases.
His versatility and ability to integrate knowledge make him a key bioinformatics analyst in the team, bringing efficiency, accuracy and a biological perspective to each project.
